Happy Birthday to Her ...
Today is my Mom and Brother's birthday. She's 50 and he's 25. Crazy right?
Even crazier is that Mom had the opportunity to turn 50 in Paris. That's right. She rang in her birthday at the Eiffel Tower with some of her lady friends with a bottle of Champagne. And yes, she got stopped by the police.
Go Momma!
Hopefully as my brother celebrates his birthday this evening no cops will be involved.

I won't know. I'm in Texas. My birthday present to my mom (other than a vacuum, scrapbook and travel umbrella) was the opportunity to celebrate with my aunt ... one of her closest friends.
So, I'm here in Houston (one of my favorite cities) watching my aunt's three teenage boys and three dogs while the ladies live it up European style.
Of course I wish I were in France with them, but I'm glad that the ladies got to celebrate, live it up and see Paris.

Did you know ...
That they're hiring for the 2010 Winter Olymics in Vancouver?
I'm tempted to apply just because I can.

New Addiction ...
Audio Books for my iPod. And there are entire websites dedicated to free audiobooks whose copyright has expired. What a great way to get caught up on reading the classics while driving to work!!!!
So far I've "read" Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, Wurthing Heights and Persuassion. I was on a Jane Austen kick. But now I have so many more choices and I don't have to pay $15 - $55 on iTunes.
